this site belongs to FLOEMA - ESCRITÓRIO DE PALAVRA LTDA, a company registered in Brazil under CNPJ 61.990.555/0001-12, headquartered at Rua Frei Caneca, 1382 - Conj. 11, Consolação, São Paulo, SP, Brazil, ZIP 01307-002. from here on, we'll just call ourselves "floema." this page explains, in plain terms, what we do with the data of anyone who visits the site or sends us a message, following Brazil's LGPD (Law No. 13.709/2018).

just two types of data, and neither is complicated:

• what you fill in on the contact form — name, email, phone, and whatever else you want to tell us about your project;
• what our analytics tools record on their own as you browse the site — page visited, time spent, where the visit came from, device and browser type, IP address.

basically for three things: replying to your message and moving a possible proposal forward, understanding how the site is being used so we can improve navigation and content, and meeting any legal obligation that applies. and one thing we want to make very clear: we don't sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes — that's just not what we do.

we use cookies and traffic-analysis tools to understand how the site is being accessed — nothing much beyond that. if you'd rather not, you can turn off cookies directly in your browser settings. some site features might work a little differently, but basic browsing will keep working fine.

only service providers who help us keep the site running, like our hosting and analytics providers. all of them are bound by confidentiality obligations and only access what's actually necessary to do their job.

we keep your contact data for as long as its purpose requires, or for whatever period the law demands for accounting or tax matters. after that, the data is deleted or anonymized — we don't keep it just to keep it.

Brazil's LGPD guarantees a handful of rights, and you can exercise any of them whenever you want: know whether we're processing your data, access or correct what's on record, request anonymization or deletion of what no longer needs to be kept, request portability to another provider, or simply withdraw your consent and ask us to delete whatever was processed based on it. for any of that, just write to escreva@floema.work.

we take the technical and organizational precautions that make sense to protect your data against improper access, loss or leaks. no system is foolproof, but our commitment is to act fast if anything goes wrong.

this policy can change from time to time, whether because we adjusted a practice or because the law changed. the version that counts is always the one published here, with the date at the top kept up to date.
